Columbus Storm defeats Panama City Panthers for three-peat

The Columbus (GA) Storm scored 19 points in the fourth quarter to win their third straight championship in the Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL) title game defeating the Panama City (FL) Panthers 26-6 played in Panama City, Florida.

Wide receiver Tre Holmes scored the Panthers' lone touchdown on a pass early in the first quarter to give Panama City a 6-0 lead. Columbus answered with a touchdown pass on fourth down and took a 7-6 advantage into the fourth quarter.

The Storm finished the regular season 7-2.  The Storm defeated the Clarksville (TN) Chiefs 26-10 in the  semifinals.
