Think you can blow some big bubbles when you chew bubble gum?

You have some competition.

The National Bubble Gum Blowing Competition was recently held which featured qualifier rounds and a final competition sponsored by Big League Chew. The final round was filmed for ESPN and took place at the Riverside Events venue in Trenton, Michigan.

Bubble gum blowing contest rules typically involve contestants chewing gum to prepare it, then blowing the largest possible bubble within a set number of attempts or time limit. The winner is determined by the largest measured bubble, and rules often specify the type and amount of gum, age groups, and a warm-up period. Judges measure the bubbles using a tool, and bubbles must often be held for a minimum time to be eligible for measurement.

Winners of 2025 bubble gum blowing contests include Eastston Romanowski, the Kids Division champion at the National Bubble Gum Blowing Championship. At the Washington Town & Country Fair, Layla Pepper won the 10-12 age bracket and the overall biggest bubble, while Jaycee Martin won the 4-6 age bracket and Emmitt Searcy won the 7-9 age bracket. Briella Blondin was the winner of the first bubble gum contest at the Tunbridge General Store
