Indoor Soccer League Ready for New Season

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) will kick off its 2025-2026 on Friday, November 28th when the Kansas City Comets play at the St. Louis Ambush.

The league is down to eight teams this season after losing defending champions Chihuahua Savage, Dallas Sidekicks, Texas Outlaws and Harrisburg Heat during the offseason.  The teams playing this season are:  St. Louis Ambush, Baltimore Blast, Utica City FC, Kansas City Comets, San Diego Sockers, Tacoma Stars, Empire Strykers and Milwaukee Wave.  The MASL announced in September that they will expand into Sacramento, California in 2027 with a new indoor arena planned for Rancho Cordova.

The teams will be arranged in a single-table format and play 24 games from November 28-March 29.

The MASL's leading scorer, Jorge Rios who led the league with 33 goals with the Savage decided to join Boca Dallas another league.  Look for Justin Stinson (Empire) and Frank Tayou (Milwaukee) to top the league this season after scoring over 30 goals last season.  Leading the league in goal will be Boris Pardo (San Diego) who had a 4.38 Goals Against Average.

The 2025-2026 season will be important for the league to remain stable with their eight teams.  The league has always needed better exposure and expanding their fanbases.
