INTENNSE Tennis League Completes First Season


A new tennis league launched this summer named INTENNSE which is a professional team tennis league which started with three teams in Atlanta, Jacksonville and Tampa.  Each team included three men and three women teams.  The competitions called "Surges" which is three team-vs-team matches, "Duals" featuring men's singles, women's singles and doubles play.  Each "Dual" was played in three timed "Bolts" with the highest combined score winning.

Unlike the quiet of traditional tournaments, INTENNSE encourages fans to be loud and energetic and supporting their teams and players.  Top players include Vicky Flores (Tampa), Tanya Sasnouskaya (Atlanta), Kevin King (Atlanta), and Sam Frizelle (Tampa).  Sam Nicholson (Atlanta) was named the league's Men's MVP for the 2025 season.  Seone Mendez (Tampa) was named the Women's League MVP.

In their first season, each team played eight matches.  Atlanta finished in first place with a 5-3 record.  Jacksonville and Tampa followed with 4-4 records.

Atlanta then defeated Tampa to win the first INTENNESE championship.
