New Indoor Football League Planned

It may be summer but there’s a new indoor football league coming this winter.

The Winter Indoor Football (WIF) league currently lists seven teams on their roster from the Northeast/Midwest Region of the United States.  According to their Facebook page, the teams include:

Eastern Illinois Riot
Indy Hittaz
Jackson Grizzlies
Midwest Valley Warriors
Ohio Blitz
Ohio Shamrocks
Pittsburgh Outlaws

Several of these teams are coming in from other semi-pro outdoor leagues to participate in the new league.

The league has announced their season will start in October.
