Women's Football Alliance (WFA): The national championship games were played at Tom Benson Stadium in Canton, Ohio.  In the WFA Pro title game, the Boston Renegades overcame an early 7-0 deficit to the St. Louis Slam to win their fifth consecutive title 35-7.   In Division II, the New York Wolves won their first title with a 21-0 shutout of the defending champions Oklahoma City Lady Force.  The West Palm Coyotes dominated the New Mexico Benita's 58-6 to take the Division III crown.

Major League Cricket (MLC):  A new attempt has been launched in Grand Prairie, Texas where a cricket-specific field was constructed as the home for the league's inaugural six-team league.  The teams are:  Los Angeles Knight Riders, Mi New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings and Washington Freedom.  Although the teams are playing their first season in Texas, the league hopes to transition teams to their home locations.  For more information on the league:  https://www.majorleaguecricket.com/home

North American Floorball League (NAFL):  The Fort Worth Jaguars, Ohio Aviators, Florida Vikings, Fresno Force, Texas Tornadoes and Minnesota Growlers recently opened the league's second season. Each team will play 10 games with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs.  Follow the league here:  https://nafloorball.com/

European League of Football (ELF):  There seems to be trouble in Europe's version of the National Football League as another team has encountered financial problems.  This week the Prague Lions cancelled their game against Fehervar Enforcers.  Head Coach Zach Harrod stepped down and the team has not practiced due to outstanding debts and not paying players' salaries.  Earlier this season the Leipzig Kings also folded due to financial problems. The league continues to play with the remaining 15 teams as the league is approaching Week 9.  For more on the league:  https://europeanleague.football/

Indoor Football League (IFL):  In the first round of the playoffs, the Sioux Falls Storm defeated the Massachusetts Pirates 42-39.  The Frisco Fighters trounced the Quad City Steamwheelers 57-29.  In the Western Division, the Bay Area Panthers defeated the Tucson Sugar Skulls 46-34, and the Northern Arizona Wranglers took down the Arizona Rattlers 62-53.  The Division Finals will be played this weekend.

Premier Ultimate League (PUL):  The Raleigh Radiance won the league title this season.  They defeated the New York Gridlock 18-16 in the championship game.  Raleigh finished the regular season with a 4-2 record then defeated the DC Shadow 18-16 in the semifinals.  Read more here:  https://www.premierultimateleague.com/

Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF):  The new women's professional volleyball league which will launch next year announced that the Omaha franchise will be called the Supernovas. The team will play their home games in the 18,000-seat CHI Health Center.
