The Arena League Plans 2024 Start
The Arena League (TAL) is a new professional indoor football league which recently announced plans to play in 2024 with up to 10 teams playing a 10-game schedule. This league is not to be confused with the Arena Football League (AFL) which also recently announced plans to return in 2024.
The Arena League is led by NFL Hall-of-Famer Tim Brown as the league's commissioner. Brown hopes to fill rosters with players with NFL potential.
The proposed league will also face competition with other indoor and spring football leagues which are either currently playing or plan to play in 2024.
The TAL website is asking fans to vote for the following cities to be in the new league:
- Waterloo, Iowa
- Kansas City, Missouri
- Springfield, Missouri
- Rochester, Minnesota
- Little Rock, Arkansas
- Rockford, Illinois
- Dubuque, Iowa
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Duluth, Minnesota
- Wichita Falls, Texas
The TAL has determined that these cities would be a good foundation to start the new league. They will finalize markets in the coming weeks.
