Pay-Per-View Pillow Fighting?

Who knew that one day the tradition childhood pillow fight would one day become a professional sport?

Well, my friends, professional pillow fighting is here.  The Pillow Fighting Championships pay-per-view event is coming in early 2022.  Fighters will use specially designed pillows in this alternative to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

For more on this alternative sport, go to FightPFC.com

FightPFC Pillow Fight Championships quickly evolved as competitors armed with personal strength, speed, stamina and combat sports skills have attracted a following.  Within the past three months, the PFC has grown to over 23,000 TikTok followers and over 10 million views through their own social media and partner coverage.

There are male and female competitors in professional pillow fighting in three round bouts which claim to be less violent than MMA bouts.

Yes, this is really a thing but don't grab your down or memory pillows yet. This is apparently serious competition and not the laughing with feathers flying childhood horseplay.

In January 2007, the Pillow Fight League was established in Toronto with organized bouts in pillows which operated mostly in bars.  The league ceased operations in 2011 but have launched a crowd funding campaign to return.

Don't get caught napping or you will miss the PFC "Pound Down" event in January from Florida.

No word yet if the Mike Lindell of MyPillow will sponsor the event.
